This past weekend, 15 youth from Saint Anne and Saint Joseph the Worker attended the Steubenville Life Teen Retreat in Orlando.  The weekend began and ended with Mass and featured several engaging speakers who shared their own faith walks.  A live worship band did a wonderful job of bringing the youth together in a raucous spirit filled dance party at the front of the stage.  A total of 9 priests attended and heard confessions throughout the weekend.  Over 1700 youth were in attendance and the Holy Spirit was moving them in new ways all weekend long.  There were 3 sessions of Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament including a processional Adoration on Saturday night.  There was a lot of growth and healing happening throughout those sessions.

Thank you to all those parishioners who made the weekend possible through their generous donations and prayers.  It would not have been possible without your generous support!

Thank you to Joe and April Alday for leading the youth during this retreat and to Jackie Meadows for coordinating all the details behind the scenes.  Thank you also to Father Phil and to all the Religious Education teachers who give their time and talent to teach our children our beautiful Catholic faith.   And finally, thank you to the parents / guardians who allowed their children to join us this past weekend.

We pray that the seed planted will be watered and nurtured into maturity.

God Bless!
